Wednesday:Today we drove to France to the resort town Bierritz where many surfers were in the water. For dinner we went to Martin Berasategui’s restaurant which was better than the night before.
Tuesday: today we went to San Sebastian about 30 minutes from our hotel. This city is built around a beautiful bay. We spent the day visiting the city walking around and enjoying the sights. Dinner was at Arzak restaurant which is rated forth in the world’s best restaurants.
Monday: Today we drove to Hondarribia an old city next to the French border. In route we stopped in Bilbao a saw the Guggenheim museo of modern art. The parador hotel is a restored 10th. century castle of Carlos the 5th. The picture looking out our hotel room is of the bay with France and a full moon in the back ground.
Monday: Today we drove to Hondarribia, a city on the French border. The parador hotel is a restored castle of king Carlos 5th built in the 10th century. Along the way we stopped in Bilbao and saw the Guggenheim museo of modern art. Lunch was in a fishing village. The picture from our room is looking out over the bay. France is the on the other side of the bay with a full moon in the sky.
