Today we walked from Roncesvalles to Akerreta which is also the name of the hotel. This is a hotel in the movie The way.

Today we began our journey up the Pyrenees mountains. It will be a long and steep walk.
Near the top is a statue of Mary which we visited.
Further up the route Manolo served us wine.
We attended Mass followed dinner.

Saturday, October 14th
We had a smooth flight to Madrid. Manolo meet us at the airport.
We had a six hour ride to France,Saint Jean Pied de Port.
We checked into our hotel and went to the office of peregrinos for our official stamp.
We visited a church were Bob lit a few candles.

Friday October 13th

We began our Spanish journey by departing Chattanooga by private van to Atlanta. Our Delta flight is at 5:50.
