We departed Barcelona early in the morning. Our first stop was in Ceragoca to the cathedral and basilica Of the Virgin Mary of Pilar. We then drove to Burgos where we had lunch and toured the famous and historic cathedral. We arrived in Villafranca around 9 PM.

 
Then we went to Burgos:

Butch is 59 today😊.  Today we had a four hour private tour of Barcelona. We visited the famous church Sagrada Familia by Gaudí. Father Charlie celebrated mass and then we enjoyed dinner together celebrating Butch’s birthday. Tomorrow we will visit the cathedrals in Bugos and León ending the day in Villafranca.

Becky and and I flew from Madrid and met the group in Barcelona. Manolo our friend and our Driver met us and took us to the Palace hotel.

We ate lunch then took a nap. At 6 o’clock Fr. Charlie celebrated mass in his room and we remembered the prayer petitions that were given to father Charlie. We then had a nice meal at a local restaurant. Tomorrow we have a busy day touring Barcelona.  

Becky and I attended Carlos’s and Ana’s wedding followed by a reception.

Father Charlie, Brian and Butch Mary Beth and  Donna depart Atlanta arriving tomorrow in Barcelona.  Becky and I will meet them tomorrow morning at the airport.
