We spent the day in Villacanas which is an hour south of Madrid. Tomorrow we will return and attend Carlos and Ana’s wedding. We attended a wedding rehearsal party. Also we visited two museums. Museo del Silo which is an area of underground houses. The second museum was casa museo de la tía sandalia, which is where a lady who could not read or write ran a school.

Becky attended a play ‘Carmen’ and toured the city. 

I was at work most of the day with Carlos. Assisting him with his patients. 

We arrived in Madrid  at eight in the morning. Carlos, our young friend met us at the airport and took us to the hotel. 

Becky took a nap and I went to see an amputee.

Mid afternoon we had lunch with Loi (carlos’s mother) and Carlos at our hotel Villa Magna.

Today we drove from Villafranca to Madrid, a 4hrs drive. We will stay at the Ritz next to Prado Museo. We enjoyed an early dinner with Carlos and Ana. We depart tomorrow at 9:30am.

Like true pilgrims we had breakfast at the hostal! We departed Santiago by car and arrived in Madrid late afternoon to our destination hotel, the Ritz. Fr Charlie and our wives arrive tomorrow.
