Monday: last night’s dinner was with Bob, Luke, Monica, Carlos,Anna and his parents at very popular restaurant in Madrid. Today I played golf at a private golf course north Madrid.
Sunday: We attended la misa at a Benedictine Monisterio 40mins. North of Madrid. Then lunch in a near by town. We ate goat for lunch. Not bad, it tasted like pork.
Today I visited the monisterios in Burgos and the cathedral. Dinner with Bob , Luke and Monica at a nice restaurant in Madrid.
Arrived in Madrid at 8am. A good flight but a short night having a six-hour change in time. Carlos was at the airport waiting. We went to get some coffee and a little breakfast before taking me to the hotel. We had to park two blocks from the hotel Ritz due to the king and queen being a half a block from the hotel watching a military parade. Later I Carlos and Anna went to her parents home an hour and a half south east of Madrid. There we had lunch note the plate of pigs ears and then went and visited 1000 year old castle.
